Port Blair, Apr 06: Recently a Pontoon, attached with an engine dinghy had capsized in the sea near Bamboo Nallah, Kala Pathar Beach of Swaraj Dweep. Out of three people onboard the Pontoon one person reportedly managed to escape unhurt in the accident while two people went missing.
Three days after the accident,the body of one missing person was reportedly found today by the Marine Police and Coast Guard team.
The body has been recovered by a search team from the seashore area near Kala Pathar Beach. The deceased has been identified as Mr. Prasanjit Pramanick, a 30-years-old resident of Brookshabad. Police and Coast guard teams are reportedly still searching for the second missing person, Mr. Govind Tutun. Further details are awaited.
