Port Blair, Apr 01: Yesterday evening a 24 years old youth was brought to Dr. RP Hospital, Mayabunder with multiple injuries on his body for treatment.
On investigation, police found that on 31 March 2022 evening, the 24 year old youth and his friends were standing near Neemtala Road, when another boy, 19 years old, came and started hurling abuses on the 24 year youth.
It is learnt that the 19 year old boy was hurling abuses for an old issue between them and while abusing the 19 years old boy suddenly brought out a scissor and attacked the 24 year old youth.
The victim got multiple injuries on chest, stomach and shoulder while the attacker boy escaped from the crime scene. The injured youth was anyhow brought to the RP Hospital by his friends for treatment. Later the Mayabunder police unit arrested the 19 year old boy in this case.
