Port Blair, Nov 22: National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad in association with Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) has organized a three days orientation training progarmme from 20th to 22nd November, 2012 on “Concepts and Key Reforms Promoted in ATMA-Model” for the officers of Agriculture & Allied Departments in the conference hall of Directorate of Agriculture, Haddo, Port Blair.
Shri. S.N. Misra, Secretary (Agri.) was the chief guest in the valedictory programme held on 22nd November, 2012 in the conference hall Directorate of Agriculture, haddo. In his address he requested the participants to take best use of the training for the benefits of the farming community. He also requested the participants to five their feedback about the said training programme so that in future necessary modifications can be done.
Earlier, Shri M.A. Salam Director of Agriculture, A&N Administration welcomed the chief guest, participants and others. Dr. M.A. Kareem, Deputy Director (Agr. Extn.) MANAGE, Hyderabad has proposed vote of thanks and briefed about the three days programme held. Dr. (Smt.) Manju Nair, Block Technology Manager, S/Andaman Shri. Abdul Nazir, Agriculture Assistant Rangat and Shri. Wincy Ninan, Block Technology Manager has expressed their views about the programme.
In the said training programme various topics on the concepts and key reforms in implementation of Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme was dealt by the resource person from MANGE, Hyderabad.
Thirty officials of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries Industries and Rural Development Departments have attended the said training programme.
Dr. M. Abdul Kareem, Deputy Director (Agri. Extn.) National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad and Dr. Guru Prasad Tripathi, Faculty from SAMETI- Orissa were the resource persons for the said training programme.
