Port Blair, Mar 31: Recently, Miss V.K.Mariyam Bibi, Zilla Parishad Member of Bambooflat along with Smti Rasheeda, Pradhan Hopetown met Director Shipping Services and requested him to start the first boat service from 5 AM between Bambooflat & Chatham and the last trip at 9.30 PM from Chatham to Bambooflat for the convenience of the general public. The delegation also asked to restart the boat service from marine to Panighat as per the earlier schedule of pre-Covid period. The DSS reportedly assured them to do the needful at the earliest.
