Port Blair, Mar 21: Allegedly depressed over financial problems, a 36-year-old Auto-driver committed suicide in the Garacharma area on Sunday morning.
According to the information received the deceased was staying alone in a rented house at Garacharma. The incident took place in the morning hours when a neighbor of the deceased found him hanged with fan in his house.
It is believed that possible reason behind his suicide was financial problems faced by him due to which he went into depression, it is learnt.
Later the PS Pahargaon was intimated about the matter, after which PS Pahargaon team reached the spot and the body was sent to GB Pant Hospital. Further details are awaited.
