Port Blair, Mar 16: Rotational load shedding in Port Blair and South Andaman area due to the prevailing hot and humid climate there is an increase in power demand resulting in a shortage of power.
To cope with the situation, a rotational load shedding of approximately 30 minutes to 45 minutes, will be exercised in and around Port Blair and South Andaman area during evening peak hours from 1730 Hrs. to 2130 Hrs. w.e.f. 16th March 2022 onwards, till further announcement.
The timing mentioned above is tentative and may vary subject to availability/shortage of power.
