Port Blair, Mar 09: State Bank of India, Rural Self Employment Training Institute, Port Blair (SBI RSETI) celebrated International Women’s Day on 08th March 2022 at Conference Hall, SBI Complex, Mohanpura.
The programme was organized on the theme “Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”.
In the programme Mr. C Raj, Chief Manager, Credit, Mr. Suman Barla, Chief Manager, (C&S), Mr. Jayendra, Manager, SBI, Port Blair and Mr. Anridam Chowdhury, Director, SBI RSETI, Port Blair with RSETI staff members were present.
The dignitaries explained the importance of Gender Equality to celebrate the Social, Economic, Cultural and Political achievements of women and raise awareness about Women’s equality and accelerate Gender Parity. They also encouraged the participants to fight for their rights.
A Cultural programme was organized by the participants and a Vote of thanks was given by Mr. P Kaliswaran, Faculty, SBI RSETI, Port Blair.
