Port Blair, Mar 09: The MPL 35th National Junior Girls Chess Championship 2022 began today on the 09th March 2022 at RPS International School, Sector-50 Gurugram, Haryana.
The event is organized by the All India Chess Federation (AICF) under the aegis of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
More than 100 players across India are participating in this prestigious event in which two girl players from Andaman & Nicobar Islands are taking part viz Jasleen Kaur Bohra and Tarandeep Kaur Bohra.
The Championship will be held for 05 days from 09th to 13th March 2022 over 09 rounds in Classical Mode with 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move per player. The Top twenty players will be awarded cash prizes.
