Port Blair, Feb 27: The election materials bound for the Little Andaman constituency arrived at Hutbay on 27th February 2022 by the special sailing of MV Kalighat.
The materials were received by Mr. SuneelAnchipaka, DC, South Andaman and DPME who is on a visit to Little Andaman to monitor the Election arrangements and preparedness.
The DPME monitored the materials being shifted and stored in the strong room facility at ALHW multipurpose hall, Hutbay.
Further, the election materials for Panchayat Elections in N&M Andaman District were dispatched from the District Strong Room today through the respective Returning Officers along with security personnel in a special convoy through Andaman Trunk Road.
Election materials for Panchayat elections to Campbell Bay, Rangat, Mayabunder and Diglipur Tehsil was also transported.
