Port Blair, Feb 22: Arpan Music Academy (AMA), Dollygunj, Port Blair celebrated the “24th International Mother Language Day” on 21st February 2022.
Mr. Ravindra Rao, retired M. D. of A & N State Co-op Bank, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The Function was inaugurated with the lightning the lamp by the Chief Guest with the President, General Secretary of Arpan Music Academy (AMA) and others dignitaries. Mr. Prokash Saha, President of AMA welcomed the gathering.
The students of AMA presented an inaugural group song ‘Amar Bhaire Rokte Rangao’ sung by Master Anurag Roy, Mrs. Soma Roy & Mr. Amit Roy.
Mrs. Soma Roy, Mr. Amit Roy, Mr. Lalu Prodhan, Mr. B.C Naskar presented a Solo Song and Duet Song in front of the gathering. Master Sajid Ali & Master Pratyush Saha played a piece of music on the keyboard. The Harmonium was played by Master Anurag, Tabla by Chinmoy Das and percussion by Mr. Lalu Prodhan.
Later in the function Chief Guest, Mr. Ravindra Rao addressed the audience. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Chinmoy Das, the General Secretary of Arpan Music Academy (AMA).
