Port Blair, Feb 16: A minor girl suffered severe injuries after a 58-years-old man accidentally hit her with a Machete at the Haddo area on Monday evening.
According to reports, a resident of Haddo, reportedly gave shelter to a lady and her 10-years-old daughter in his house but his 58 years old father was against it.
Soon a heated argument between father and the son began during which the 58 years old father reportedly tried to attack his son with Machete, but by mistake, the minor girl got severe injuries on her arms.
The minor girl was immediately rushed to the GB Pant hospital for treatment and later the mother of the child filed a case at PS Chatham against the 58 year old man. As per details the old man was later arrested and was soon released on bail.
