Port Blair, Feb 11: As part of community service activities, cadets of Army and Naval NCC units conducted statue cleaning and tree plantation drive at Captain Ashim Kumar Bhattacharjee Park, Junglighat on Friday under the supervision of ANO, SLt Dr. Satyam Setia and PI Staff of the both Army and Navy Unit.
Lt CdrAnkit Pant, Commanding Officer, 1 AN NU, NCC commended the contribution of cadets towards community service and inspired them to continue such efforts.
He urged the cadets to take inspiration from Captain Ashim Bhattacharjee and work hard towards the attainment of their goals.
50 NCC Cadets of Army and Naval Units participated in events with zeal and enthusiasm. All COVID 19 protocols were followed during the conduct of the events.
