Port Blair, Feb 11: The Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India convened an interaction with the District Magistrates/Collectors along with the Senior Officers of all States & UTs through Video Conference on 11th February 2022 in connection with the Rurban Cluster Development process under Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM).
The focus of the interaction was to share experience, best practices, on-ground transformation, action plan for timely completion of mission activities and bottlenecks faced in the development of the Rurban Cluster.
Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman/Secretary (RD), attended the interaction session from A&N Islands.
The Secretary (MoRD) reviewed the progress of the project works implemented under the Rurban Mission in the Islands and expressed his satisfaction and advised to accelerate the progress of projects in hand for its early completion before March 2023 and assured all possible support from the Ministry.
