Diglipur, Feb. 09: Filing of nominations by the candidates of different political parties for contesting in the upcoming Panchayat Election-2022 started in Diglipur today. Mr. P.R. Singa Ram, who is contesting on Congress Party ticket from Subhashgram Constituency as Pradhan was the first to file his nomination paper at the Conference Hall of Gram Panchayat Subhashgram in the forenoon today.
Concerned Officials were seen to do their assigned duties in respect of filing nominations in strict adherence to the election rules and appropriate COVID protocols were duly followed.
Altogether 15 nominations were filed in which 1 was for Zilla Parishad Member and 14 were for Padhan, Samiti & Ward Members for Gram Panchayat Subhashgram today, a source said.
