Port Blair, Jan 25: On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, National Voters Day and 73rd Republic Day of our Nation on 24, 25 and 26 Jan 2022, our emerging YBSSCT, has conducted Swachhta Abhiyan at Fish Mending Centre and Sea shore areas of Hutbay, Little Andaman on January 25, 2022.
The Yuva Bharat Samaj Seva Charitable Trust (YBSSCT) was smoothly completed the mission in Cooperation with the staff of Tehsildar office, Little Andaman, Police Personnel of Hutbay PS, PRI Members of Hutbay and Netaji Nagar Gram Panchayat and Volunteers from Earth Care Organisation. This drive was graced by Shri. Gopal Chandra Mosid, Tehsildar, Little Andaman.
During this Abhiyan more than 100 bags of garbage were collected from the Sea shore area and Fish mending centre at Hutbay. All govt. officials and volunteers were unitedly and diligently worked hard for the Rural Development, this is a wide range initiative and large participation of girls become incredible to our Society. They have been part of this massive drive become marvellous.
The main objective of this cleanliness drive was “Cleaning India cannot be done by one person, it has to be done by 135 crores people of India”. It is everybody’s responsibility and one should keep themselves and their surroundings clean and hygienic. It also brings good and positive thoughts in the mind which slows down the occurrence of diseases.
We specially thanks to every volunteer for their participation and support. During the event, we strictly followed COVID-19 protocol. YBSSCT extends heartfelt gratitude towards Directorate of RD, PRIs and ULBs for providing vehicle facilities and manpower, for removal and disposal of the collected garbage.
