Diglipur, Jan 23: A theft case was reported from Laxmi Store Subashgram, Diglipur on 15 Jan 2022. As per reports, on 15 Jan, when the shop owner reached the shop to start his day at around 06:00 AM, he found that the lock of the shop was already open.
As per sources, the thief decamped with around 50 packets of cigarettes, 2 number CPUs, 18 Boxes of Tobacco and also some cash, kept in the shop.
As per reports, the same day the shop owner reported the matter to the Diglipur Police Station, after which a theft case was registered.
Mr. N.S. Stalin, the SHO PS Diglipur, formed a Police Team and started the investigation. Later after a detailed investigation on 22 Jan 2022, the police team arrested a man namely Mr. Suraj Mazumder and recovered most of the stolen materials from his possession. Further details are awaited.
