Port Blair, Dec 21: Mr. P.K.Haldar, President of Andaman & Nicobar Democratic Party and Ex-Member, A&N Pradesh Council, has demanded immediate intervention of the Lt Governor, A & N Islands in the issue of attack on media persons at Port Blair by IRBn Jawans.
He mentioned in his message that independence of the Press / Media is the symbol of the Democracy of India. Freedom of Media is a must for a democratic society. He condemned the action of IRB Jawans.
