Port Blair, Dec 12: The National Students Union of India (NSUI) State President Mr. M.A Sajid has written a letter to JNRM Principal on Tuesday requesting him to re-evaluate the answer scripts of those students who failed at the semester examination held at JNRM.
In the letter, Mr. Sajid wrote that “A huge number of JNRM students who failed in the semester examination approached him on Monday and they demanded re-evaluation of their answer scripts as they believe that they have wrote the exams well and there was some kind of goof-up made by the University authorities during valuation of their answer scripts.
He also said that “The Counselling for M.A, M.sc and B.ed will commence soon, and at that moment these students could not apply for the seat and their future will be at stake because of the improper evaluation carried out the Pondicherry University”.
Hence, looking at the high number of failed students particularly at this year, Mr. Sajid requested the Chief Secretary to immediately consult the concerned authorities of Pondicherry University and re-evaluate the answer sheets of all students who failed at semester exam.
