Port Blair, Dec 12: Bajrang Dal under the aegis of VHP, A &N Islands organised a voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 12/12/2021 at Vivekanda Kendra Vidhyalaya, Lambaline, Port Blair on the occasion of ongoing Gita Jayanti celebration from 06/12/2021 to 14/12/2021. Gita Jayanti is celebrated all across country by the VHP and Bajrang Dal by conducting various SevaKarya.
The Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was graced by Dr Kodanram, Chief Medical Officer, Incharge, Blood Bank and Mr. Manoj Kumar Sirohi, Secretary, VHP, A&N Islands. The chief guest explained the importance of donating blood and motivated the youths to donate frequently. The programme started with giving shraddanjali to Late Bipin Rawat, Former CDS, Indian Armed Forces. Mr. Amit Rai, Sayyanjok, Bajrang Dal elaborated upon the Gita Jayanti celebrations and the various sevakaryas organised by the sanghatan.
The youths of Bajrang Dal actively participated and made a huge contribution. 51 units of blood were donated by the karyakarthas of various organisations. Mr. Brijesh Pandey, Assistant Secretary VHP, A&N Islands concluded the programme with the vote of thanks.
