Port Blair, Dec 08: The newly inducted students of Dr BR Ambedkar Institute of Technology during their Induction program initiated making of 3500 paper bags out of waste papers. These waste paper bags were distributed by the students to the Pharmacy counters of GB Pant Hospital and PHC Garacharma for distribution of medicines to the patients for using these packets. The main objective was to suggest alternatives for the plastic bags, promoting an eco-friendly approach by using biodegradable materials and inculcate social ethics among students.
