Port Blair, Dec 05: To carry out preventive routine maintenance work on board vehicle ferry vessel, MVF Kadamtala operating between Uttara and Gandhighat will be withdrawn from services for 02 days w.e.f. 05.12.2021 from 1400 Hrs. Due to above withdrawl, there would be only vehicle ferry vessel MV Austin – III to cater the services between Uttara and Gandhighat during the above period. To clear the rush, the available vehicle ferry shall shuttle/ operate continuously in the above route during the above period, without maintaining the fixed scheduled time. All out efforts are being made to restore the operations of MVF Kadamtala as early as possible, a release said.
