Port Blair, Nov 14: On a secret information, the Police team of Central Crime Station led by SI Mohd. Sameer, I/C Central Crime Station, alongwith SI N. Zainuddin, SI PMK Kumar, HCs K.R. Murgeshan, K. Venkateshwar Rao and Jerome Peter, PCs Udaya Kumaran, Sujit Dutta, Mohd. Haneefa, Ashique Iqbal, Nadir, Karthick Uraon, Vikas Kumar Yadav and Augustin and HG(D)/ Hemant Rao conducted raid at Wandoor and arrested 10 persons namely l) Aswani Bala 2) Haridoy Mistry 3) Jogan Baishnab 4) N.V. Harilal 5) N.K. Haldhar 6) S.K. Dutta 7) Prahlad Mondal 8) M.K.Baroi 9) S.K. Mondal 10) R.K. Mistry, who were found gambling with playing cards and recovered Rs. 1,02,260/-(Rupees One Lakh Two Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty only) including Rs. 82260/-(Rupees Eighty Two Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty only) as stake money on the night of 12/11/2012. Later, they were challaned under the appropriate sections of law.
