Port Blair, Sept. 27: Andaman Association of Tour Operators celebrated World Tourism Day on 27 September 21 in a befitting manner. Team AATO conducted a beach cleaning drive at Veer Savarkar Park, Chouldari.
Tourism is the most prominent industry in Andamans and provides employment to a large number of Islanders.
As per AATO President, Mr. M.Vinod, President, AATO has been promoting tourism in Andamans since its inception in the year 2004.
AATO has represented Andaman Tourism in various domestic and international trade events and exhibitions.
Tourism has resumed in Andaman Islands post lockdown and in a recent move Andaman administration has removed the mandatory RTPCR check for people who are double vaccinated and completed 15 days after second dose.
