Port Blair, Sep 26: A lady tourists from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh today reportedly died at Havelock Island. She was rushed to Havelock PHC this afternoon, where she was declared dead. Although this is not the first case of death of any Tourist in Andaman during water sports but in this case no officials are ready to share any information to media, even after repeated attempts.
However, Andaman Sheekha Daily has learnt that the tourists was neither in any tourist diving boat nor was assisted by any diving instructor, certified by Tourism Department.
Now the question which is asked by public is that how this accident took place and who should be held responsible for this tragic accident, which will certainly bring bad name for Andaman Tourism.
A few years back when a tourist had died after water sports at Havelock, stringent action was initiated against certain people. Public is asking whether any inquiry will be ordered in this case and will the general public be informed about the complete detail about this tragedy by authorities.
