Port Blair, Sept 24: Hindi Fortnight is being observed by Clinical Research Unit (H), Port Blair under CCRH, Ministry of AYUSH from 14th to 28th September 2021.The Fortnight was inaugurated on the day of Hindi Day i.e 14th September with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana by the officials and staff members of CRU(H), Port Blair.
Dr. Uttam Singh, Officer In Charge, RO (H), S-1 gave best wishes and requested all the employees to always remain dedicated for the promotion of the Official Language. During the fortnight many programs were organized like essay writing competition, lectures etc. with the aim of eradicating the hesitation related to the Official Language.
On 23rd September 2021 Smt. Kalpana Verma, Translation Officer, Office of the Director General of Audit (Central) Kolkata, Branch Office Port Blair presented a special lecture on the topic “Noting and Letter Writing” which also included a practice session to increase the enthusiasm of the employees. All the officials and staff members also took pledge for working in official language, Hindi.
The fortnight will conclude on 28th September with the prize distribution ceremony of the essay writing competition and a small event.
