Port Blair, July 04: As part of Seva Hi Sanghathan – II programme under the vision of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and National President Bharatiya Janata Party Mr. J.P. Nadda, today in the leadership of Mr. Vishal Jolly, Former State President BJP A & N Islands and Home Ministry Advisory Committee, GoI a tree plantation drive was undertaken by BJP-A & N Islands at Veer Savarkar Park, Chouldari village this morning to spread awareness of forest conservation and to save the environment, over 101 fruit bearing and medicinal plants were planted by the BJP leaders and Karyakartas during the drive.
Sakthi Kendra Pramukh Mr. Ashim Badiya, Chouldari Mandal President Mr. Deran Madhu were present on the occasion and spearheaded the plantation drive together with other Senior leaders of BJP.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Jolly said I am honored to be present here for this very important initiative taken by BJP Karyakarta and stressed on the need to protect environment by inculcating awareness about environment conservation, he also briefed about the core idea of the programme to commemorate the vision of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. The programme concluded with an appeal made by Mr. Jolly to follow COVID appropriate behavior and collectively fight against this deadly virus.
