Port Blair, Oct 21: Mr. Sharma, who is also the Chairman of Andaman and Nicobar State Cooperative Union has opened a Fashion designing and tailoring school at Stewardgunj on 18th October, 2012 in a function organized at the Panchayat Hall of Stewardgunj as a chief guest which was also attended by the social worker and Prez of Gram Sudhar Sangam, Mr. AP Mohammed, media personnel DV Singh Deep and Dhanasekaran, Pradhan of the area and others.
Mr. Sharma has told the gatherings that he wants that the women, especially of the rural areas, must be self dependent and thus get confidence in themselves. The centre has been opened by the ANS Cooperative Union for the welfare of the womenfolk.
