Port Blair, Mar 25: District Child Protection Unit under District Administration, South Andaman organised Felicitation Ceremony for the winners of Essay Competition and Tele- Quiz Competition on 25th March 2021 at the Conference Hallof Industries Department.
Shri Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman was the Chief Guest of the Program. In his address the Deputy Commissioner (SA) congratulated all the participants and appreciated all the children and stakeholders for their active participation.
Prizes were distributed to the winners by the Chief Guest who participated in the Essay Competition on the topic “My Rights, My responsibilities”. The competition was conducted in two categories (6th to 8th Std/ 9th & 11th Std for children and a Tele- quiz on the Topic “Child Protection” for the Stakeholders.
Initially, Presentation on District Child Protection Unit and Child Protection was presented by the DCPU Team.
SDM South Andaman Shri Hari Kallikkat and SmtiAnshu Kumari, Tax Officer was also present as Guest of Honour.
