Port Blair, Nov. 08 : The Andaman and Nicobar Fire Service has developed Online Portals ( http://andssw1.and.nic.in/swc/depts/fire and http:// andsw1. and.nic.in/ospfire ) as an integral part of Single Window System to provide online Fire Clearance Certificate (FCC) for private enterprises in South Andaman area for rendering timely service.
Despite existence of said online portal, the private establishments are approaching A&N Fire Service with their application/requests for issue of Fire Clearance Certificate (NOC from Fire Deptt.) in person and thereby the Fire Service is facing difficulty in maintaining records, retrieval and to render service to the public on time.
Hence, all private enterprises have been advised to submit their application/request for seeking Fire Clearance Certificate (FCC) through online only and the applications/requests in person will not be accepted under any circumstances, sources said.
