Port Blair, Nov 08: Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands under the leadership of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been organising awareness programmes in different regions of the South Andaman Districts on the newly enacted farms bill, which is a historical move towards improving the lives of the farmers of India.
The over all in-charge of the programme Mr. Sanjay Singh, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been organising various programmes throughout the South Andaman District and has been directly communicating the benefits that farmers will receive with the newly enacted farms bill.
Mr. Sanjay Singh along with the Co-Incharges of the awareness programmes Smti. Phoolmani Thomas, State Secretary, BJP, A & N Islands, Smti. Saraswati Narayan, District President, South Andaman, BJP, A & N Islands, Mr. A Anand, State General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, A & N Islands and Mr. Chittranjan Choudary, State General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, A & N Islands recently organised awareness programmes at Collinpur. Panchayat, Beodnabad Panchayat, Hasmatabad, Wandoor Panchayat and at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan, Middle Point, Port Blair.
The programme organised at Collinpur Gram Panchayat for the awareness of the farmers on the recently enacted farms bill was organised by Mr. Shailesh Kumar, District Vice President, South Andaman, BJP, 0A & N Islands and Mr. Balram Singh, District Vice President, South Andaman, OBC Morcha, BJP, A & N Islands. The programme was attended by huge number of farmers and the newly enacted farms bills were briefly discussed along with the implementation on ground.
The Programme at Beodnabad Panchayat was chaired by Mr. Varadarajan, District President, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, South Andaman, A & N Islands. The meeting saw huge participation of farmers and the newly enacted farms bills were briefly discussed along with the implementation on ground.
The programme at Wandoor Panchayat was organised by Mr. Prakash Adhikari, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. Adhir Das, Mandal President, Wandoor, BJP, A & N Islands and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Majumdar, Prabhari, BJYM, South Andaman, A & N Islands was also present in the meeting. the meeting saw huge participation of farmers and the newly enacted farms bills were briefly discussed along with the implementation on ground.
The meeting at Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan, Middle Point Port Blair saw participation from State Office Bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, along with other karyakartas from different morchas, South Andaman District and Port Blair City District. A discussion on newly enacted farms law was conducted. Further a brief discussion on the upcoming CCS Elections also took place in the same meeting.
