Port Blair, Nov 03: A delegation of of IPA led by its National President, Mr. Abhay Kumar called on Dr. Omkar Singh, the Director of Health Services in his chamber and handed over 21 Pulse Oximeters and also a letter with the request for early recruitment of Pharmacist under DHS.
It was informed by the DHS Sir, that Sect Health has already accorded approval for ANM & Staff Nurse recruitment and department is awaiting for the approval for the post of Pharmacist from Secretary Health. Tomorrow there is a crucial meeting at the Secretariat, wherein this matter would be discussed, informed by the DHS.
The Nodal Officer, Rect. who was also present during the meeting has assured that the examination schedule will be published on the very next day of receiving of approval from the Secretary Health.
The DHS reportedly appreciated the noble gesture of the IPA for donating Pulse Oximeters and assured that it will be used judiciously. The IPA team was represented by Mr. N. K Das, Mr. Probir Mondal, Mr. Abdul Gafoor, Mr. Ajay Kumar Gupta and Mr. Rajesh Chourasia.
