Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands has greeted the Islanders on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi. Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
On the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi the people around the world gather in mosques to offer their prayers and greet each other on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad.
The festival is celebrated all over India along with Andaman and Nicobar Islands. On the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi Shri. Ajoy Bairagi requests the residents of the Islands to follow all COVID-19 protocols as specified by the Govt. of India and to maintain ‘2 Gaj ki Doori’ and to wear masks at all times when in public to avoid the risk of COVID-19 infections to them and their families and society in large.
COVID-19 has grappled all the festivities in the 2020 but if we follow all the COVID-19 protocols as specified by the Govt. and follow the two golden principles of covering our faces in public and maintaining social distancing we will come out as winners from the grips of the pandemic and will celebrate all our festivals together with more pride and happiness next year.
