Port Blair, Oct 04: Recently ,Andaman Sheekha had reported about a request of public to allow more than 02 four wheelers in the Vehicle Ferries operating between Chatham- Bambooflat route. Now the DSS is reportedly operating the vehicle ferry service as per the pre- Covid period.
Living On The Edge (LOTE) an NGO, has expressed its gratitude towards the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman, Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, and the Secretary Shipping and the Director of Shipping Services for their timely action for the smooth movement of vehicles and passengers, onboard vehicle ferries, in the above mentioned route.
