Port Blair, Oct 01: The Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman today assured that, MV Sentinel will reach Hut Bay tomorrow and pick-up students from Little Andaman, who are planning to appear for their arrear examinations at Port Blair.
Earlier, some people had earlier complained Andaman Sheekha that the students who are going to appear for the exams are stuck at Little Andaman Island due to non availability of vessels. Meanwhile many people claimed that the vessel, MV Sentinel which is scheduled to touch Hut Bay, would not be touching Hut Bay Port, because the ship is already full.
When Andaman Sheekha contacted Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, the Deputy Commissioner of South Andaman to get more clarity in this matter, he said that Administration has scheduled MV Sentinel for Hut Bay and it will certainly reach Hut Bay tomorrow evening and will pick-up the students and also the medical cases to bring them to Port Blair.
The DC also informed that the ship, MV Sentinel is having sufficient space to accommodate all students of Little Andaman.
