Port Blair, Sept 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Islands under the leadership of Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman and Nicobar Island is organising a week long awareness programmes on various Govt. Schemes to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti – the birth anniversary of the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
The overall In-charge for the week long awareness drive Mr. M Vinod, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party in association with the karyakartas will be organising several awareness programmes throughout Andaman and Nicobar on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local and promotion of Khadi.
The celebration of Gandhi Jayanti through awareness programmes will start on 25th of September 2020 and will end on 2nd of October 2020 on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
On 25th of September 2020 at 10:00 Am an awareness programme is being organised at Junglighat Fish Landing Center where awareness and interaction will be held with the fishermen community which will mark the beginning of the week long programme to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti.
Bharatiya Janata Party karyakartas from all the districts of BJP from Diglipur to Campbell Bay in Andaman and Nicobar Islands will organise various programmes and spread awareness on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local and will promote Khadi.
