Car Nicobar, July 23: The people of Car Nicobar are facing serious cash crunch since last 10 days as both the SBI ATMs at Perka village of Head Quarter area have become un-operational. Sources said that the first ATM became defunct two months back and the second one is also non functional since last 10 days. Sources added that yesterday some technicians for ATMs arrived at Car Nicobar in MV Chowra vessel but all were placed under institutional quarantine. It seems that for cash people of Car Nicobar will have to wait for some more time. Although there is another ATM of ANSCB in Car Nicobar but the services of the ATM is highly unreliable. Worst sufferers are those who went to Car Nicobar without a cheque book.
