Mayabunder, July 21: At a time when the COVID-19 cases are increasing in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and after the first Corona case has been identified in the North and Middle Andaman region, Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan led District Administration has installed a Ventilator in the Dr. RP Hospital, Mayabunder recently.
Exclusively talking to Andaman Sheekha today, Dr. Angel Bhati Chauhan said that the district administration is fully prepared to fight back against Coronavirus and is strictly monitoring whether the Standard Operating Procedures are being followed in every place of the district.
She further said that the District Administration with the help of Health professionals has also prepared an audio-video compact CD in which experts have mentioned the importance of sanitization, social distancing et cetera.
“The CD has been prepared to make the public aware and be health-conscious, we will display this CD in all panchayats of North and Middle Andaman District and also show it to the children after the school and colleges start,” Dr. Chauhan added.
