Port Blair, July 21: The Transport Department of Andaman and Nicobar Administration is planning to launch an online portal for public, where they can buy online STS bus tickets and pay for road tax digitally. Responding to a tweet regarding this issue Mr. Nikita Pawar, Secretary of Transport Department wrote that the Transport Department is extending E-services through VAAHAN & SARATHI portals. All services including smart ticketing are also to be provided in online mode in a phased manner as internet services improve further.
