Port Blair, July 17: The former president of BJP’s Andaman and Nicobar State unit, Mr. Vishal Jolly today lambasted Administration for withdrawing ANISHI scheme. Addressing a mass gathering infront of PS Aberdeen, Mr. Jolly asked the Administration that why the ANISHI scheme was withdrawn without consulting with anyone.
“Poor People, Retired Persons, people who do not have Ayushman Bharat Card, Porters, Mazdoors, people who are suffering from heart and other serious ailments, for them Bharatiya Janta Party had brought ANISHI scheme in Andaman. The scheme was introduced when BJP MP was there, Me and Ajoy Bairagi ji were there as LG Advisory Council members. The Administration is playing with life of general public. BJP won’t allow to withdraw ANISHI scheme in Andaman,” Jolly said in his speech.
Jolly added that BJP won’t leave poor people begging on the road and to re-start ANISHI scheme whatever is needed will be done by BJP.
He added that very soon a senior delegation of BJP leaders will go to New Delhi under the leadership of A & N State BJP unit president Mr. Ajoy Bairagi with the demands raised during the protest by BJP, which include re-starting of ANISHI scheme.
