Port Blair, July 3: Responding to rumours being spread all over social media regarding the death of a COVID19 positive patient admitted with INHS Dhanwantri Port Blair, the Nodal Officer, COVID-19, A&N Islands, Dr. Avijit Roy today stated that no such incident has occurred anywhere as on date and time.
“However, one old positive Patient with co-morbid condition has been shifted to GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair for high dependency care as a matter of abundant precautions,” he said.
The Nodal Officer has appealed to the general public not to believe in such rumours and to avoid forwarding such rumours.
