Billyground, June 29: A Concrete Mixture truck hit the live electric line yesterday at 03:50 pm near Swadeshnagar Bridge following which there was a major spark.
As per sources, the incident took place due to the negligence of the Concrete Mixture truck driver and many also confirmed that the truck was over speeding.
Due to the bad signal in the area, the matter couldn’t be informed to the concerned Electricity Office on time as a result of which they delayed coming in the spot, and the movement of vehicles in the road got interrupted for around 30 minutes.
Later, the Billyground Police Unit was informed about the incident and due to their efforts the Electricity Unit was informed and soon the line was repaired and normal traffic flow resumed on the road.
