Port Blair, Sept 20: Five days art and cultural festival “Maati Ke Rang” – (Octave and Silver Jubilee Celebration of Zonal Cultural Centers) is being organized jointly by EZCC, Department of Art & Culture and Department of Tourism, A&N Administration from 23rd -27th September 2012.
The highlights of the festival will be food festival, crafts fair and Choreographic presentation by the visiting artist. During the festival, Cultural programmes will be organized at Havelock on 24th & 25th September 2012 and Diglipur on 26th September 2012.
Lt. Governor, A&N Islands will inaugurate the 5 days festival at ITF Ground on 23rd September 2012 at 6.30.p.m.Choreogrpahic presentation of visiting artists will be the highlight of the inaugural function.212 folk artistes and 20 craftsman representing fourteen states of India along with local Cultural groups with folk dances will participate in the festival.
