Port Blair, Feb 06: On various topics of Early Childhood Care and Education, the classes are being conducted during 4 to 5 pm throughout February month. The Gyandarshan TV channel available at Tata Sky as well as Andaman Cable Network carries the tele-class at the door steps of DECE students of IGNOU. As the topics are general in nature, it will be useful for both young parents as well as elderly/grandparents. The Regional Centre is organizing the tele-classes for all 90 students who have registered for DECE programme. The topics of tele-class are: Child Health and Nutrition, Childhood Illness, Treatment and Prevention, Services and Programmes for Children. The dates of the classes are 6th, 11th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 24th and 25th February at 4 to 5 pm. All the DECE students and interested general public are invited for Child Care classes at IGNOU, Regional Centre, Port Blair.
