Diglipur, Feb 05: A priest of a Saint Ignatius Catholic Church at Diglipur, whose one bike and one scooter was gutted in the garage of the church on 31st January, 2020 claims that according to him the incident did not happened by accident.
According to the Priest, his both of the two wheelers were in garage since a long time and there is nothing in the garage, which could have triggered the fire, hence, he registered an FIR in the Diglipur Police Station on the next day, in this regard, seeking justice.
The fire brigade unit of the area that came for the rescue operation also didn’t find any concrete clue that why the fire took place inside the garage.
Till now the Police Unit is clueless and according to the priest the police department has done nothing to find the actual cause of the fire and have neither arrested anyone in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Andaman and Nicobar Catholic Association is planning to organize a protest rally against police at Diglipur and Port Blair for the failure in finding a valid cause behind the fire.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the President, Andaman and Nicobar Catholic Association, Mr Sanjay Meshack clarified that if this case is not cracked in another 20 days, ANCA will organize a massive protest against Andaman Nicobar Police.
