Port Blair, Jan 27: A free Gynecology camp was conducted at PHC Swaraj Dweep in coordination with Directorate of Health Services, Rotary Club of Port Blair & Andaman Nicobar Islands Private Practicing Doctors Association on 24/1/2020.
Dr. Arun Kumar Unnithan, Gynecologist conducted the camp along with
Dr. Prabhakaran, Radiologist of Directorate of Health Services at PHC Havelock, 38 patients was given treatments.
A free Dental Camp was also conducted by Dr.Dinesh & Dr. Snehesh, Dental Surgeon’s at Shyam Nagar Panchayat Hall 13 tooth extractions cases were done free medicines were also given and advised on oral prophylaxis, regarding how to maintain good oral hygiene etc. Smti. Shika Rani Mistry, Pradhan, Rtn. Ajay Agarwal, District Governor Rotary Club, District 3291 from Kolkata Rtn. Brotindro Mullick District Secretary Admin, Rtn. Sanjoy Mukherjee Assistant Governor, Rtn. Anand Sharma, ADS projects, Rtn. Puspita Sharma, President of Rotary Club of Calcutta Park Point were present at both the camp venues along with the team members from Kolkata. Before proceeding to Swaraj Dweep District Governor and team visited JNRM Girls Hostel built in 2007 & Boys Hostel built by Rotary Club of Port Blair in the year 2008. Rtn. Krishna, President Rotary Club of Port Blair, Secretary Diwakar Moorthy, Rtn. Uday Bhaskar, PP Rtn Anil Goel, Rtn Faisal Jadwet, Rtn Amar Gupta had made arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camp.
