Port Blair, Nov 29: The Port Blair Municipal Council bid farewell to two employees of the Council, who will be superannuated from government service on 30/11/2019. At a simple function held on 29/11/2019 in the conference hall of the Council, all the retirement benefits including GPF, gratuity and other monetary benefits were handed over to the employees. Mr. Ashok Anand, Administrative Officer, Port Blair Municipal Council recalled the valuable services rendered by them to the Council and wished them happy and healthy post retired life. Mementoes were also presented to the employees. Senior officials/officers were also present on the occasion. Name of the employees who retired are viz. Mr. Alphonso John S/O John Samuel, Cattle pond Keeper, Sanitary Section, and Smti Ponnalagu, W/o Late K.L. Subbaiah, WCM, Park Section.
