Mayabunder, Nov 05: The Adhyaksha, North and Middle Andaman, Mr Dipankar Mistry has requested the Secretary Shipping to reschedule the timing of the vessel MV Coral Queen for making journey for the residents of North and Middle Andaman much easier.
In a letter addressed to the Secretary Shipping, Mr Dipankar stated that if the timing of the vessel is rescheduled to 4:00 PM or 05.00 PM from Diglipur to Mayabunder and 09:00 PM from Mayabunder to Port Blair, this will help the patients of North and Middle Andaman, who are unable to travel in the night bus service.
Mr Dipankar also requested the Secretary Shipping to increase number of sailings of MV Coral Queen from 03 to 04 in a week till the up-gradation work of Andaman Trunk Road from Baratang to Diglipur is completed.
