Port Blair, Nov 03: The Local residents of Bathu Basthi, Dollygunj, Prothrapur and Garacharma meet the Civic chief and briefed about the issues of water crisis in their respective area. In order to have an actual look of the situation Mr.N.K.Udhaya Kumar, Chairperson PBMC along with Mr. Suneel Anchipakka, Secretary PBMC inspected Rajaji Nagar Water tank area today on 2nd November 2019. Mr.Dharmendra Narayan, Councillor Ward No-17 was also present during the inspection. After brief discussion with the officials of the Engineering wing the Chairperson assured the local residents that the problem of water crisis will be sorted out at the earliest. The Civic Chief on today itself meet the Secretary (PWD) Mr.Candavelu (IAS), and disused the issue wherein the Secretary(PWD) assured that every possible help from his end will be provided to short out the issue.
