Port Blair, Nov 03: There is a likely emergence of tropical cyclone, which is reported to be crossing over Andaman Sea on 4th, 5th & 6th November, 2019. The Directorate of Shipping Services keeping in view the safety of passenger and vessels, may suspend or cancel the scheduled sailing of its vessels, on the aforesaid date’s for various Islands.
“Passengers/ Tourists/ general public travelling to the outer islands are therefore, hereby advised to plan their journey accordingly to avoid any inconvenience and difficulty, in the event of suspension / cancellation of shipping services in the interests of safety and security,” a release from DSS said here today.
