Port Blair, Oct. 31: As part of promoting higher education in North Andaman, the Regional Director Dr.S. Ganesan of Indira Gandhi National Open University, Regional Centre, Port Blair is visiting Rangat on Friday 1st November- 2019. During the visit, he will conduct exclusive meeting with all school teachers at Sabari and Rangat, along with Deputy Education Officer, Rangat. He will also visit the private schools in and around Rangat, to create awareness about IGNOU academic programmes. The visit will activate the IGNOU Special Study Centre (for Disadvantaged group) at GSSS- Sabari- 0202D, for January -2020 academic session. The Regional Director will also meet and interact with IGNOU students during 3-4pm at GSSS-Rangat. The parents, NGOs and higher education aspirants may also met him at APWD Guest House, Rangat on Friday, evening hours.
